David Eugene Shuck, 49, of 2225 Arbuckle Road in Lebanon was indicted for receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000 and second-degree persistent felony offender in Marion Circuit Court recently.
According to the indictment, between May 21-28, Shuck received, retained or disposed of property valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000 knowing that it had been stolen or having reason to believe they had been stolen, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.

Two Raywick men were indicted in LaRue County on July 16.
Dustin S. Harris of Raywick was charged with first-degree burglary and complicity; theft by unlawful taking and complicity; and tampering with physical evidence.
He is accused of unlawfully entering a residence while armed with a deadly weapon and hiding stolen jewelry under the seat of a police cruiser on May 10.
Bail was set at $50,000 cash only and no contact with alleged victim.

A Russell Springs man was uninjured after the tractor-trailer he was driving turned over at 4:40 p.m. July 17 near 1920 Liberty Road (Hwy. 49).
Anthony C. Byrd, 41, was driving south July 17 in a 2000 Kenworth pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with wood when the accident happened, according to Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Clements.
The truck got off the edge of the roadway and the load shifted, causing the truck and trailer to turn over, Clements said.

Preliminary statistics* indicate that 15 people died in 15 separate crashes on Kentucky’s roadways from Monday, July 9 through Sunday, July 15, 2012.
Fourteen of the victims were traveling in motor vehicles. Nine were not wearing seat belts. Two of the fatalities were the result of crashes involving alcohol.
One fatality was the result of a motorcycle crash and was not wearing a helmet.
