  • Bradfordsville woman indicted for child abuse

    Melissa Pittman, 34, of 205 E. Main Street in Bradfordsville was indicted for first-degree criminal abuse and first-degree persistent felony offender in Marion Circuit Court recently.

  • Lebanon man gets probation for wanton endangerment

    Joseph Wathen, 29, of 156 Hamilton Heights or 1075 Bradfordsville Road in Lebanon entered an Alford plea to second-degree wanton endangerment, and he received 24 months of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently.
    By entering an Alford plea, Wathen did not admit guilt but he acknowledged that the prosecution could likely prove the charge against him.

  • Maple Street resident gets probation on drug charges

    Richard A. Harrington, 45, 555 Maple Street Apt. 36 in Lebanon received five years of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (10 or more dosage units, two counts) and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (20 or more dosage units, three counts). He was ordered to pay $270, $200 and $75 in restitution to the Kentucky State Police, $200 restitution to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and $100 to the KSP Desi West and to serve 170 days in jail.

    TNT Fireworks reported the theft of an undetermined amount of fireworks worth approximately $4,000 from its location at 2136 Campbellsville Highway in Lebanon. On Aug. 2, the case was closed because the victim refused to cooperate, according to the Lebanon Police Department.
