     May 25 – The Marion County Board of Education reported that theft by unlawful taking over $500 occurred at 408 St. Rose Road. A Dell laptop computer, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen.

  • Two indicted for Cash-A-Check robbery

    Two people were indicted for robbery in connection with the March 20 armed robbery at Cash-A-Check in Lebanon.
    The Marion Circuit Court grand jury handed down the indictments May 19.
    Johnny Ray McQueen, 51, of 100 Saint Ann Street in Lebanon and Dawn L. Hardin, 20, of 107 Saint Ann Street in Lebanon were indicted for first-degree robbery. McQueen also was indicted for first-degree persistent felony offender.

  • Walnut Street man gets probation for drug trafficking

    Raymond T. Helm, 61, of 123 W. Walnut Street in Lebanon received two years of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (20 or more dosage units), first offense and prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense. He was ordered to pay $175 court costs.
