  • St. Ann Street man facing burglary, theft charges

    Johnny R. McQueen, 51, of 100 St. Ann Street in Lebanon was indicted in Marion Circuit Court recently in three separate indictments for first-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (firearm), third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree persistent felony offender (three counts), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, second-degree fleeing or evading police, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and resisting arrest, and second-degree escape.

  • Inmate sentenced to 10 years for drug trafficking

    James Robert Spalding, 26, of Marion County Detention Center was ordered to serve the balance of his original 10-year sentence for first-degree trafficking in controlled substances (three counts) and second-degree promoting contraband in Marion Circuit Court recently.
    Spalding’s probation was revoked for violating the terms of his probation by failing to complete the drug court program.
