Joshua Chad Greene, 21, of 666 Doctor Street in Lebanon violated his probation by absconding supervision, continued drug and alcohol use, failure to report change of address, failure to complete treatment and new charges. He was sentenced to five years on an underlying charge of assault under extreme emotional disturbance.

Christopher A. Sutherland, 22, 1732 Sonne Avenue in Louisville pled guilty to first-degree wanton endangerment. Nine counts of first-degree rape, 10 counts of third-degree sodomy, 10 counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of second-degree persistent felony offender were dismissed. According to the indictment, the victim was under 16.
His sentencing has been set for May 24.

In other court news:

Two former Washington County sheriff's deputies were sentenced to 50 months in a federal prison on March 7 at the Gene Snyder United States Courthouse in Louisville.

Norris Wayne Bartley, 44, and Billy Joe Mattingly, 42, both of Springfield, will serve more than four years in prison, followed by a three-year term of supervised release, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's office.

Both men pled guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
