  • Louisville man gets probation for wanton endangerment

    Christopher Sutherland, 22, of 1732 Sonne Avenue in Louisville received five years of probation on a charge of first-degree wanton endangerment.
    Nine counts of rape, 10 counts of third-degree sodomy, 10 counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of second-degree persistent felony offender were dismissed.

  • Lebanon man indicted for 20 counts of rape

    Michael Johnson Jr., 25, of 337 M. L. King Blvd. #2 in Lebanon was indicted for 20 counts of first-degree rape and four counts of first-degree sodomy in Marion Circuit Court recently.

  • Loretto man gets 24 months for wanton endangerment

    Joseph R. Hutchins, 56, of 6555 St. Francis Highway in Loretto received 24 months of probation for second-degree wanton endangerment after entering an Alford plea, which means he did not admit guilt but acknowledges that the prosecution could likely prove the charge.
    Hutchins was originally indicted on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse (victim under 12).
    Hutchins was also prohibited from having contact with the victim or the victim’s immediate family, and he was ordered to pay $150 court costs.
