  • Man accused of shooting inside home

    A Lebanon man has been arrested and charged with wanton endangerment after he allegedly shot a gun inside a Campbellsville home.

    According to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office report, deputies received a call at 1:15 p.m., Saturday stating that there were shots fired in a home on New Columbia Road.

    When officers arrived, the report states, witnesses said William R. Rigdon, 27, shot a gun when several people were home.

  • New motorcycle operator’s license test begins May 1

    The Kentucky State Police Driver Testing Branch will begin using a new rider skills test for motorcycle operator’s license applicants on May 1. Developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), the new test is designed to better determine if operators possess sufficient safety skills for riding motorcycles in traffic.

  • Lebanon man accused of 10 counts of rape

    Michael Johnson Jr., 25, of 337 Martin Luther King Boulevard #2 in Lebanon was indicted for 10 counts of first-degree rape in Marion Circuit Court recently.

    According to the indictment, between Oct. 9, 2010, and Oct. 9, 2011, Johnson engaged in sexual intercourse with another person who was incapable of consent because she was less than 12 years old.

    His bond was set at $50,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the complaining witness.

    - James F. Spragens reported theft by unlawful taking over $500/farm equipment at 370 N. Spalding Avenue in Lebanon. A 2007 red Troybuilt Bronco Tiller, valued at $550, was stolen.

  • TG Kentucky, Spring View Hospital facing lawsuits

    TG Kentucky facing discrimination suit

    A Campbellsville man has filed a federal lawsuit against TG Kentucky. He is accusing the company of allowing sexual harassment by his supervisor.

    Michael Wright initially filed his complaint in Marion Circuit Court, but moved the complaint to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky on March 19.
