  • Teen pleads not guilty to Scott’s Ridge vandalism

    Allie J. Bagby, 18, of 577 Head Distillery Road in Raywick recently pled not guilty to criminal mischief charges after allegedly vandalizing the Scott’s Ridge lookout site on June 16.
    According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, on June 16, Bagby unlawfully, intentionally and wantonly caused damage to the wall at Scott’s Ridge.
    A pretrial conference has been scheduled for July 26, and she was ordered to have no contact with Scott’s Ridge.

    Mary G. Lovins of East Main Street in Lebanon reported the theft of several items, including jewelry, $760 in cash and a microwave oven. The total value of the stolen items: $1,170.

  • Convicted murderer appealing his prison sentence again

    Christopher Gribbins, who is serving 20 years in prison for the wanton murder of 22-year-old David Litsey Jr., is appealing his sentence for a second time.
    Gribbins was convicted of Litsey’s murder on July 17, 2014. Litsey was shot in the neck in the parking lot of Raywick Bar and Grill on Nov. 9, 2012. He was taken to Spring View Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Gribbins was the owner of the bar at the time.
