  • Raywick man gets pretrial diversion for facilitating burglary

    Donald Leake, 21, of 255 Howardstown Road in Raywick received 24 months of pretrial diversion after pleading guilty to facilitation to commit burglary.
    He was ordered to pay restitution, a fine and court costs.
    Charges of third-degree burglary and receiving stolen property under $10,000 were dismissed.
    - Charges of possession of firearm by a convicted felon and cultivating marijuana over five plants were dismissed against Donald P. Riggs, 49, 3388 Hwy. 49 in Loretto because Riggs is deceased.

  • Two Lebanon men are charged with theft of services

    Temple L. McKenzie, 33, of 459 W. Main Street in Lebanon was indicted for theft of services over $500 and first-degree criminal trespass.
    According to the indictment, between July 22, 2010, and May 13, 2011, McKenzie intentionally obtained services by deception, threat, false token or other means to avoid payment for services known to be available only for compensation, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The value of those services was in excess of $500.

  • Local man arrested for assaulting 4 people with a belt in bank parking lot

    A Lebanon man was arrested and several people were sent to Spring View Hospital's emergency room following an alleged assault that occurred in Community Trust Bank's parking lot in Lebanon Monday, Aug. 1.

  • Brady gets 20 years on drug charges

    Brandon Brady, 26, of 806 Thompson Drive in Lebanon was sentenced to 20 years in prison for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance second or subsequent offense (two counts), persistent felony offender second-degree (two counts).
    He was ordered to pay $2,000 restitution to drug task force.
    Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

  • Police Log 7-27-11

    Reports from the Kentucky State Police
    - An injury collision occurred at 11:15 a.m. on July 19, one-mile north of Lebanon on KY 429. The collision occurred when a 2006 Pontiac being driven by Kathryn Alford, 19, of Lebanon, was traveling northbound on KY 429. Alford lost control of the vehicle, overcorrected, and left the roadway, coming to final rest in a field. Alford and her passenger, Aurelio Martinez, 4, were both belted at the time of the collision. Both were transported to Spring View Hospital by personal vehicle for minor injuries.

  • Gravel Switch man indicted on rape charge

    Joseph Donald Graham, 46, of 955 Beechfork Road in Gravel Switch was indicted for first-degree rape.

    According to the indictment, on or about May 13, Graham engaged in sexual intercourse with another person by forcible compulsion.

    His bond was set at 10 percent of $50,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the victim.
