  • New Haven woman gets probation for drug trafficking

    Mary Delonjay, 46, of 218 Red Bud Drive No. 24 in New Haven received five years of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense (10 or fewer dosage units, four counts) and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense (20 or more dosage units, four counts). She was ordered to serve 180 days in jail and to pay $625 court costs, $1,315 restitution, $65.75 fee and $2,000 in lieu of forfeiture.

  • Lebanon man indicted for drug offenses

    Charles Jeremy Webb, 28, of 313 Shelby Street No. 6 in Lebanon was indicted  in Marion Circuit Court recently for first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substance not in its original container first offense.

  • Citizens Police Academy begins March 10

    Kentucky State Police, Post 15, is now accepting applications for the 2014 Kentucky State Police Citizens Police Academy. The 10-week academy is slated to begin March 10, 2014 and will meet on the following dates: March 10, 13, 17, 24 and 27; April 3, 7, 14, 28; and May 5 and 19 with graduation ceremonies held on Monday, May 19. All classes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. EDT.
