  • Lebanon man accused of incest

    Luis M. Cortes-Vergara, 45, of 690 W. Main Street in Lebanon was indicted for three counts of incest (victim under 12) and one count of first-degree sexual abuse (victim under 12) in Marion Circuit Court recently.
    According to the indictment, between Dec. 1, 2012, and Oct. 20, 2013, Cortes-Vergara had sexual intercourse with a person he knows to be an ancestor, descendent, brother or sister who was under 12 years old. The indictment also reads that he subjected a person to sexual contact who was incapable of consent because she was under 12 years old.

  • Lebanon, Campbellsville women granted deferred prosecution

    Bobbi Lee Morgan, 27, of 270 Three Pines Road in Lebanon received deferred prosecution for two years on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol assessment, to complete inpatient substance abuse treatment and to pay a $300 program fee.

  • New Haven woman gets probation for drug charges

    Mary Delonjay, 45, of 218 Red Bud Drive No. 24 in New Haven received five years of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense (less than 10 dosage units, four counts), second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense (20 or more dosage units; four counts).
    She was ordered to serve 180 days in jail with work release and to pay $2,000 in lieu of forfeiture to Lebanon Police Department Drug Task Force and $345 restitution to the KSP Desi West.

  • Former Community Action employee files lawsuit

    Clarence Sickles filed a civil complaint against his former employer, Central Kentucky Community Action, on Jan. 29 in Marion Circuit Court.
    According to that complaint, Sickles of 224 E. Chandler Street in Lebanon suffered a “significant injury” while working and that injury has limited his ability to work and perform major life activities.

  • Woman sentenced to 60 days in jail for DUI

    A Springfield woman, who pled guilty to drinking and driving and two counts of second-degree assault, was sentenced recently in Washington Circuit Court.
    Judith Filiatreau, 63, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, five years of probation and her license was revoked for 18 months.
