  • Heartland Wellness Center & Café is now open

    Heartland Wellness Center & Café, located at 145 Cemetery Road, Lebanon, opened Monday, April 3, at 6:30 a.m.
    Balanced has yoga from 6:30-7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Join them for line dancing on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and children  on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

  • Seeing Seth smile

    Some stories I write for the newspaper really stick with me.
    The story I wrote about Seth Martinez, which was in last week’s edition of the Enterprise, is one of those stories.
    After learning more about Seth and how he was abused, I was disgusted, angered and heartbroken. How someone could abuse a child is something I will never understand. As a parent, I understand that caring for children can be stressful and, at times, maddening. But, it is never okay to abuse a child. Never.

    Due to the premium nature and increased production and distribution costs of the Discover Lebanon & Marion County Magazine, published on April 12, all subscribers will incur a nominal additional charge of $1 for the edition. Your total bill will remain unaffected but there will be a slight adjustment in your expiration date, unless you have selected the monthly EZ Pay option. The premium surcharge will be added to the applicable regular monthly EZ pay charge.
