A Lebanon man was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison for second-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault, DUI first offense and four counts of promoting contraband.
Joseph M. Spalding, 29, of 516 Valley View Apartments in Lebanon pled guilty to all the counts against him. Judge Allan Bertram handed down the sentence Sept. 4 in Marion Circuit Court.
Spalding caused a collision Aug. 11, 2013, that killed William J. “Billy Joe” Cecil, 40, of Finley and injured Cecil’s 14-year-old son, Jonathan Blade Cecil.
