    Prayer breakfast
    First Baptist Church, N. Depot St., Lebanon, and Pastor Tommy Calhoun invite you to attend their prayer breakfast for Sis. Myrtle Folmar and Sis. Roberta (Ian) Roston at 9:30 a.m. April 21. All are welcome to come and support your sisters in Christ in fellowship, and worship.

    Friend and Family Day
    Tucker Hill Baptist Church, 600 Shortline Pike, Lebanon, will have their Friend and Family Day at 3 p.m. April 22. Dinner will be served and Pastor Yocum of First Baptist Perryville will deliver the message.

    Monday, April 23: baked potato soup, chicken drumstick, seasoned peas, pear crisp, and cornbread.
    Tuesday, April 24: hamburger, lettuce, tomato, onion, vegetable soup, oatmeal raisin cookie, whole wheat bun, and crackers.
    Wednesday, April 25: barbecue chicken on whole wheat bun, baked potato, sour cream, margarine, green beans, and baked apples and raisins.
    Thursday, April 26: beef lasagna, buttered broccoli, garlic bread stick, and Jello fruit salad.
    Friday, April 27: breaded Pollock, Navy beans, coleslaw, ambrosia fruit salad, and cornbread.

  • BASEBALL: Knights traveling to North Bullitt for 2 games

    Early on in 2018, the Marion County Knights have fallen on some difficult times.
    After starting off 2-0, Marion County has gone 1-7 since then, dropping their record to 3-7. Marion County’s only win in that span was against Taylor County, 5-2, in the opening game of the series against the Cardinals last week. Four of the Knights’ losses this season came against stout competition at Dodgertown in Florida.

  • Olivia Ford Invitational is Saturday

    Four Little League teams from Marion County and four from Nelson County will battle each other in The Olivia Ford Invitational this Saturday, April 21, at Graham Memorial Park. Start times for games are set for 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
