  • Power lifters

    Current and future Marion County football players traveled to Central Hardin High School on Saturday to compete in the state powerlifting meet. St. Charles Middle School students placed in the competition.
    Mason Brown received first place and broke the record for bench press at 225 pounds in the middle school division weight class of 220. He also set a middle school state record with his power clean of 225 pounds. Brice Pirkle placed third in bench press in the middle school division weight class of 220. And Lucas Riley placed second in his 195 weight class.

    Centering Prayer Workshop
    Contemplative Outreach of Kentucky is offering an Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop hosted by St. Catharine Motherhouse, Hwy. 150 west of Springfield, on Sunday, April 2, from 1:30-5 p.m. This is an ancient form of prayer without words and helpful for one who desires to be aware of God within self. Everyone is welcome.
