How are we doing?

Kentucky is blessed to have not one but several “signature” industries, those areas of the economy where few, if any, states have a bigger impact.

As you know, the General Assembly is in recess until Feb. 5, but during this time we are busy preparing for and attending committee meetings, reviewing bills, and meeting with constituents in our districts. 

Hello and happy new year! As we start the new year, so starts a new session in Frankfort. The 2013 session of the Kentucky General Assembly is 30 days long and is known as the “short” session. During the first week (which started Jan. 8), both caucuses are traditionally busy choosing their respective leaders and making committee assignments.
