The Russians historically protected the Christ culture, not the Bolshevik-Nazi communists. WWII Nazis took off their uniforms and became Reds.
Communism falls in Russia and is imported to America but it is called globalism. All global systems are meant to control regular people. These moguls care nothing about you, only control. Money equals power.

  • Trump the terrible

When will Trump, his family and supporters see just how unhinged, ignorant of our constutional rights, the rule of law, and destructive his constant bashing of the media and others is? While Hilary Clinton is not perfect, she is qualified and a reasonable, sane human being. How many prominent Republicans and military professionals denouncing him will it take? Even if Trump loses this election, which he is currently, he will have done serious damage to our democratic republic with his hateful rhetoric.

  • Regarding the ‘nickel tax’ issue

I am writing as a citizen of Marion County and as a teacher.
It is reasonable that facilities need to be adequate and in good repair for the schools to operate effectively. As a citizen I would like a little more detail about what is needed and who determined these needs and their cost.

    Integrity matters
Last week I was in my car when I heard an announcement for a special-called school board meeting that was to begin shortly. Knowing the Marion County School Board’s pattern for special-called meetings at inopportune times, I decided to attend.
At the meeting I spoke to Marvin and Mark Gardner, and local attorney Ted Lavit. Let me say that I do not mind being associated with these fine gentlemen and I commend their civic involvement, but to set the record straight, I had no knowledge of their interests in being there.

    Well-reasoned, well-written
I'm superintendent in Bullitt County and just read your editorial about the petition. I have no skin in that game, except that I believe your community really needs that facility funding, but I think that your editorial is exceptionally well-reasoned and well-written and I wanted you to know it.

    Deep thought required
Let me begin with an answer to Stephen Lega’s column published in the May 4, 2016, edition of The Lebanon Enterprise. I proudly side with the individuals who have the courage to stand up for public integrity and honorable community values. Especially those who have common sense. I understand Mr. Lega that you probably get a kick out of reading responses to your columns because you believe that rebuttal and division of a community somehow makes you look like you are doing your job. Enjoy.

Editor’s note: This letter was written in response to an article in last week’s edition about Calvary Elementary School’s students completing the “Leader in Me” program.

Leader In Me program should be dropped
