Susan Spicer, you've taught me how to cook!

As a young girl growing up in Loretto, my mom tried to teach me but I was more interested in social activities, such as dancing, working, hairstyles, etc. Consequently, I fed my family lots of tuna fish sandwiches, scrambled eggs and cornbread as they grew up.

I just wanted to say kudos to the Lebanon Tourist and Convention Commission and its director, Chris Hamilton, for another great year at the Heart of Kentucky Holiday Festival. We liked the new events and the bull riding at XB Arena was just great.

Mr. Higdon of Higdon’s Foodtown and the state senate welcomed us and came by the Hampton Inn and had coffee with us. We met him last year at Big Jim’s Steakhouse and he remembered us when we went to his grocery!
