Marion Countians will mark Martin Luther King Day with a pair of events at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18.
That afternoon, the United Concerned Citizens Organization will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March, and the Marion County chapter of the NAACP is hosting its Dr. Martin Luther King Program at First Baptist Church.
The march will begin at the Lebanon Post Office, then proceed down Main Street, and turn right onto Depot Street. The march will continue to M.L. King Avenue, then turn right onto Spalding Avenue and end at the Lebanon Post Office.
