First of all, I need to start my column this week with a word of thanks to three people.
This past Friday morning my sister had a minor run in with Mother Nature. As she was driving to school, her car hit a patch of ice and slid into oncoming traffic.
Luckily, the oncoming drivers, which included a school bus, were driving slowly enough to avoid a collision and no one was harmed.
After sliding into the oncoming lane, she headed her car into the nearest parking lot, which happened to be at The Work Connection.
