On Jan. 22, 2016, David Blatt was fired as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite the fact Cleveland led the Eastern Conference with a 30-11 record at the time of his dismissal, Blatt was still fired. Though he led the Cavs to the NBA Finals the season before, he was still shown the door.
