Ask any 10 die hard bass anglers their opinion of the most exciting way to catch bass and over half will say "top water!"

Top water fishing is casting a lure that floats, or works, on... here it comes... top of the water.

Last week, I lost a good friend and former co-worker. While Chief Joe Bell will be remembered for many things, I have a picture in my mind that sums up how I'll always remember him.

My image is of a Ford pickup truck... Lord knows it had to be a Ford! Filling the bed of the truck and hanging out every window is a Little League baseball player. His team... someone else's team... didn't matter!
