  • Bracket released for Ft. Harrod...

        The bracket for the 2011 Fort Harrod Classic in Mercer County has been released.  In their first game of the tourament, the Knights are set to play the lone out of state team.  A team from Miami, Fla., will be the Knights opening round opponent on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 4:30 p.m. The team's first two games will be played at the new Mercer County Senior High, and the remaining two could either be played at the senior high or at the old high school, which is now being used as a 9th Grade Academy.

  • Knights Win in Blowout Fashion

        The Marion County Knights picked up their second straight road win in as many days by soundly defeating the Campbellsville Eagles Friday night.  After scoring the first 16 points of the game, the Knights went on to hold the Eagles to just one point in the opening quarter.  Marion County went on to easily win the game by 41 points with a final score of 75-34.  The Knights are now 7-1 on the season and 2-0 in district play.

     

  • Knights win in blowout fashion

        The Marion County Knights picked up their second straight road win in as many days by walloping the Eagles of Campbellsville Friday night.  After holding the Eagles to only one point in the opening quarter, the Knights went on to take the easy win by 31 points.  The Knights scored the first 16 points of the game and went on to win 75-34.  The Knights are now 7-1 on the season, and more importantly 2-0 in district play.

     

  • Knights pick up win in Liberty

         The Marion County Knights traveled to Liberty to face the Casey County Rebels.  After overcoming a dismal opening quarter, the Knights fought back and took control of the game.  By using a 14-3 run to open the second half, Marion County blew the game open.  With this win the team's record on the season now stands at 6-1, with a very important district matchup at Campbellsville tomorrow night.

  • St. Catharine to offer golf...

    St. Catharine College golf coach Joan Rizer will be holding two golf clinics for girls ages 5-16. The clinics, fundraiser for the St. Catharine College golf program, will be held at Extreme Swing in Bardstown Jan. 7 and Jan. 14.  For more information, call Randy at (502) 249-6280.

  • Lady Knights trounce...

    The Marion County Lady Knights varsity basketball team went on the road Friday night to take on the Washington County Commanderettes. The Lady Knights held Washington County to five first half points, easily winning the game 71-31 to take their record to 4-0 on the season.

  • Knights take border war

    The Marion County Knights varsity basketball team traveled to Springfield to take on the Washington County Commanders Friday night. Despite some first half foul trouble, the Knights were able to hold off the Commanders and pick up their fourth win of the season, by a final score of 57-44.
