After a long, tiring week the Knights finished sluggish... 81 holes of golf over the course of a week is likely to do that to a team.
Despite a break neck schedule, the Marion County High School boys golf team took care of business by winning their second consecutive Heartland Conference tournament and finishing 18-2 in match play.
The team's ninth place finish in the Marion County Invitational and higher scores later in the week prompted Head Coach Freddie Leathers to cancel Monday's match at Maywood to rest up and spend the week working on individual weaknesses.
