  • Lady Knights Defeat Boone County

    On Saturday evening the Lady Knights traveled to John Hardin High School to take on the Boone County Lady Rebels in the Duke's Valentine's Shootout.  After a close game early on, Marion County battled and stayed within striking distance.  The Lady Knights closed the game on a 10-0 run to take the win by a final score of 65-50.

  • Knights Fall in Tough Battle

    The Marion County Knights took on the Trojans from North Hardin on senior night Friday night in the Roby Dome.  The Knights battled all night long against the big, fast, and athletic Trojans and stayed within striking distance throughout the game.  After tying the game at 33 point halfway through the third period, the Knights were outscored by the Trojans 30-17 for the remainder of the game and fell by a final score of 63-50.

     

  • Lady Knights defeat North Hardin

    The Marion County Lady Knights hosted the Lady Trojans of North Hardin Friday evening on senior night in the Roby Dome.  After a close game early on, the Lady Knights were able to pull away for the 15 point win.  North Hardin led 12-11 after one quarter, but the Lady Knights used a 12-3 run to open the fourth quarter to put the game away.

  • District Pairings Set

    The pairings and times have been announced for the upcoming district tournament at Taylor County High School.  The tournament will be played on February 21-22 and 24-25.  The number one seeded Lady Knights will open up play on Tuesday February 21 at 6:30 P.M. against the number four seed Campbellsville Lady Eagles.  Later that evening, the top seeded Knights will take on the fourth seeded Eagles of Campbellsville.

  • Aqua Knights win home meet

    The Marion County Aqua Knights hosted a high school swim meet Thursday at the Lebanon Aquatic Center with Bethlehem and Nelson County. It was a "Home Teams" meet since all three teams hold practice at LAC (Lebanon Aquatic Center). The Marion County girls narrowly defeated Bethlehem 46 to 43 with Nelson County girls finishing with three points. Marion County boys were also winners with 40 points, while Bethlehem boys out swam their Nelson County counterparts, 22 to 19. Points are scored for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each event.

  • Freshmen Lady Knights win...

    The Marion County Lady Knights freshman won the 20th District tournament Feb. 1 at Taylor County High School.
    In their first game of the day, the Lady Knights defeated Campbellsville by a final score of 43-28. TT Adams led the way for Marion County with 14 points.
    In the championship game, Marion County edged out the Adair County Lady Indians by two points to claim the crown. Ambrasia Adams led the way for Marion County in this game with 10 points in the narrow 37-35 win.

  • Spring soccer registration is...

    Marion County Youth Soccer Association Spring Registration will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the soccer concession stand on Fairground Road. The deadline to register is Feb. 13.
    Please bring completed registration forms and registration fee with you.
    Registration forms can be found on the Internet at www.mcys.webs.com.

  • Playoff push is on

    Well, the Lady Knights capped off another undefeated district run this year.  Not surprising, since they haven't lost a district game in 1,843 days counting today. The last loss was to Adair County at home on Jan. 23, 2007 in a 64-59 overtime loss. This also happens to be the only district loss under Head Coach Trent Milby.
    Ok, enough about the Lady Knights and their unprecedented run. Let's talk about the Knights and their success over the past couple of seasons.

  • Lady Knights pull out six-point...

    The Marion County Lady Knights varsity basketball team went on the road to play Elizabethtown Thursday, and after a tough battle throughout, the Lady Knights managed to come away with a hard fought six point win.
    Senior Bre Elder and junior Kyvin Goodin-Rogers led the way with 19 points each.
