  • Hunters at the mercy of Mother...

As always, the weather has a lot to do with the way doves fly... or don't fly.
Dry, hot weather tends to turn their "I'm hungry" button on while high winds and rain mean, "I'm sayin' home."
Now understand, I have to turn this article in early because of the holiday so the weather situation for Saturday is anybody's guess. It looks like it'll be raining but as this point, who knows! Guess it's like everything else... It'll be what it'll be.

  • Coach: Boys soccer team "...

The Marion County Knights soccer team hosted Thomas Nelson High School on Aug. 28. After coming off three straight losses, the Knights couldn't find much better luck in this game. Marion County lost the game by a final score of 2-1.
The Knights started out playing well in the first half, but were unable to score any goals until late in the half. Dylan Spalding received a pass from his teammate and was able to find the net to give Marion County the 1-0 halftime lead.
According to Head Coach Greg Conley, a seemingly changed team came out of the locker room.

  • A disturbing problem

Before I get into explaining my title this week, let me just say that I love all things involved with sports. That is all things, except cheaters.
If you have been keeping up with sports news recently, you know that there have been several different stories pop up about professional athletes who have been accused of or caught using performance enhancing drugs.
