In wake of going before the Lebanon Tourism and Convention Commission on Oct. 8 in a public forum, Mayor Gary Crenshaw, Judge-Executive David Daugherty, and Economic Development’s Tom Lund approached the Lebanon City Council for their support of a convention center proposal.

“I had an obligation to bring this to you,” said Crenshaw. “We met with tourism today in open session, and so if I didn’t bring it up to you tonight, you were going to read the newspaper this week and wonder what it is we are doing.”
