Why are you running for coroner?
I believe the office of coroner should be a servant to the community and independent of any business interest. As my campaign slogan states I hope to make a difference.
What are your qualifications to serve as coroner? What knowledge and experiences have prepared you for this position?
I bring to this role a degree of compassion and professionalism which was gained after working multiple years in the funeral home industry, including providing support to grieving families that have been victims to tragedy. I don't have experience in the coroner's office, however what I do have is the eagerness and willingness to learn everything and anything about this role.

If elected, what will be your priorities in office?
I have one priority and that is to be a servant of our community. The job of coroner is a sensitive yet critical one. I want to carry out those duties with transparency, professionalism, and compassion.
What are the most important issues facing county coroner?
There are so many wonderful things about living  in Marion County. This is a great community and a place that I am happy to call home. But we are also often reminded of so much tragedy and heartache right here at home. As county coroner I will work side by side with law enforcement and other agencies to provide the most accurate and timely examinations at the scene of a crime or accident. I will work tirelessly to provide a service to our community that people can trust.
If elected, what changes or improvements would you make?
My goal would be to improve the working relationship between the coroners office and all law enforcement and emergency personal. I would ensure that families are all treated equally and provided the answers they so desperately seek in a respectful and timely manner.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I pledge that as coroner I will execute my responsibilities without regard to any personal or business gains. I will not show favoritism or use my office to persuade grief stricken families to use a specific business. I am eager to learn all that this role has to teach me and hope to make a difference when investigating the deaths in our county along with being able to provide the families with answers in a timely manner.
