Dave Hagan named general manager of The Springfield Sun

Dave Hagan has been named general manager of The Springfield Sun in Springfield. He will also continue in his role as advertising manager at The Lebanon Enterprise.
“I look forward to working closely with the staff at The Springfield Sun as general manager to overcome challenges and pursue the new opportunities for improvement available to the newspaper,” said Hagan.
Hagan began his newspaper career as an advertising sales representative of The Lebanon Enterprise in February of 2015. In January of this year, Hagan was promoted to a larger role with responsibility for direct sales and sales management of both The Lebanon Enterprise and The Springfield Sun.
Prior to joining Landmark, Hagan served as community director of Alliance Technologies/Digital Faith in Decatur, Georgia, from 2008-15, and as eLearning Admission Counselor with Sullivan University from 2001-08.
Hagan is also a United States Air Force veteran, having served as security police/senior airman stationed at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii from 1991-93.
A native of Mt. Washington, Hagan earned an associate of science degree in business administration from Watterson College in Louisville.
Hagan has been an active member of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, serving as president and chairman of the Ham Days Festival.
He and his wife Kathy reside in Lebanon with their dog, Frankie.
