Enterprise to deliver letters to Santa

-A A +A

The Lebanon Enterprise continues to partner with the jolliest man in the land, Santa Claus, and delivers local letters to him at the North Pole before Christmas.
The Enterprise will also continue the tradition of publishing letters written by local children. A special edition of the paper will include letters to Santa from each class (pre-K through fifth grade) from all five of our elementary schools.
The Enterprise is asking teachers to submit their students’ letters, which will be published in the Enterprise before Christmas. (The letters must be submitted by teachers via email. Emails should include "Santa letter" in the subject line and emailed to mmay@lebanonenterprise.com.)
Children younger than school age may submit letters directly to the newspaper office, located at 119 S. Proctor Knott Avenue in Lebanon, Ky 40033, or email them to mmay@lebanonenterprise.com. Letters should include the name, age and hometown of the writer.
In order to ensure letters reach the North Pole in time for the 2016 Christmas rush, letters should be submitted no later than 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1.
If you do not get a response to your email, that means we didn't receive your letters. So, please make sure you verify that we received them. The mean ole' Grinch has been known to cause some Santa letters to get lost in cyberspace.
Little boys and girls (pre-k through fifth grade) can also submit one Christmas drawing. Artwork must be drawn in black ink on white paper. A felt-tip pen is preferred and no crayons should be used. The drawings should be dropped off at The Lebanon Enterprise office.
