Two Tatum Lane cats each used one of their nine lives when they escaped from their burning home Thursday morning.

At approximately 8 a.m., the Gravel Switch Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire at 1775 Tatum Lane. The homeowner, Glynda Tatum, was outside of the house when a neighbor, who was taking his son to school, came across the scene. The neighbor, Ian Justice, said he used a garden hose before firefighters arrived.
