Friends of the Library spring history and art event will be May 14

-A A +A

Are you a local history buff? An art aficionado? Then you should join the Friends of the Library for their spring local history and art event on Saturday, May 14, 10-3 p.m. Come to the library to hear local history experts speak and peruse the talents of artists from Lebanon and surrounding areas.
Local historians will be on hand to discuss Marion County history, as well as selling books regarding the history of the county and the communities of Bradfords-ville and Gravel Switch.
Also on hand will be local artists. The community is blessed with an array of artists and craftsmen who will have much of their work on display, including photography, painting, jewelry and more.
While you’re in the library, take some time to visit the genealogy room and see what the library has to offer. Peruse the family files, our extensive Maryland section (many Catholics from Maryland migrated to this area in the 1700’s), court records and newspapers on microfilm.
