Goose hunt goes well

-A A +A
By Shelton Young

On Jan. 18 and 19, the weekend I missed due to the early MLK holiday, we smacked some Canada geese. Terry, Billy, Ryan and Brian Gaddie and I, were invited by a friend to shoot some geese that had been feeding in his cut-over field. Now all I’ll tell ya about the location is that it was in the Loretto area. I know the longitude and latitude cause I used that when I called the band I took, and no, I’m not telling that either. The band information revealed my goose was banded in Clark County, Ill., last June.
