Heritage Center seeks recipes for historic cookbook

-A A +A

The Marion County Heritage Center is publishing a cookbook in 2015 to celebrate Lebanon’s 200th anniversary. The books will be sold at the Heritage Center gift shop.
The cookbook will feature divider pages with pictures and information about former eating locations and restaurants, dating back to the 1800s. The book's organizers also hope to include recipes from some of those establishments.
With the many wonderful and talented cooks in Lebanon and Marion County, the Heritage Center staff hopes that some of the cooks will be willing to share some of their favorite and heirloom family recipes to be included in the book.
To obtain forms and directions for submitted recipes, call the Heritage Center at 270-699-9455 or sent an email to info@mcheritagecenter.org. Aug. 31 is the deadline to submit recipes for the book.
The Heritage Center hopes to include as many recipes as possible, and they look forward to seeing your contributions.
