Event to raise money for Make-a-Wish

The 8th annual Marion County High School Beta Junior Mister competition will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 23, in the MCHS gymnasium.
This year's theme is "The Rock of Ages" and features all of the great hair band music of the 1970s and 80s. There are 22 young men in the show this year, which is the largest program to date.
All proceeds for the event will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation to grant the wish of 4-year-old Gage from Stanford. Gage’s wish is to go to Walt Disney World Resort and meet Minnie Mouse. Gage was diagnosed with a lifethreatening neurological condition called epilepsy, seizures with no known trigger, and born with a heart condition that makes pumping blood difficult. Gage and his family will be at the high school for the show.
Advance tickets may be purchased at MCHS March 18-22 or at the Kroger customer service desk March 17-22 for $5 or tickets at the door will be $7. Kroger is partnering with MCHS this year to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
