Kelly Miles wins 2019 Marion County Distinguished Young Women competition

Kelly Miles was named the 2019 Marion County Distinguished Young Woman Saturday evening, Aug. 4.


Miles is the daughter of Bobby and Leizel Miles of Lebanon.

Miles also won awards in the self expression, interview and fitness categories, and was the overall scholastic winner.

First runner-up: Mya Emmons

Second runner-up: Tessa Hillman

Third runner-up: Fernanda Reyes

Overall scholastic: Kelly Miles

Preliminary scholastic: Jessah Hughes, Mya Emmons and Alyssa Followay

Fitness awards: Elise Carpenter, Mya Emmons and Kelly Miles

Interview awards: Fernanda Reyes, Mya Emmons and Kelly Miles

Talent awards: Alivea Peake, Tessa Hillman and Alyssa Followay

Self expression awards: Tessa Hillman, Caroline Ball and Kelly Miles
