Lebanon woman indicted for drugs

Ashley M. Wilkerson, 35 of 328 N. Woodlawn Avenue in Lebanon was indicted in Marion Circuit Court on May 6 for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, buy/possess drug paraphernalia and no registration plates. According to the indictment, on or about March 1, Wilkerson knowingly and unlawfully possessed meth and drug paraphernalia and was operating a motor vehicle with no or expired registration plate. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000.

 

In other indictments:

• Michael J. Burke, 53, of 399 First Street in New Haven and/or 425 Country View Estate in Loretto was indicted for theft of identity of another without consent, third-degree criminal mischief and attempted theft by unlawful taking over $500. According to the indictment, on or about Nov. 7, 2017, Burke knowingly possessed or used any current or former identifying information of another with the intent to represent that he is the other person, intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged any property causing loss of less than $500 and attempted to unlawfully take or exercise control over movable property of another (Wal-Mart). Bond was set at 10 percent of $5,000, and Burke was ordered to have no contact with the victim or the premises. 

• Eric Dean Coffman, 32, currently in the Marion County Detention Center, was indicted for first-degree promoting contraband and first-degree persistent felony offender. According to the indictment, on or about Feb. 14, Coffman knowingly introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000.

• Melissa K. Jackson, 46, of 10 Joseph Drive in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. According to the indictment, on or about Nov. 30, 2018, Jackson uttered or possessed a forged instrument with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000, and Jackson was ordered to have no contact with the victims.

• Jennifer L. Nichols, 42, of 58 Hatcher Lane in Buffalo was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to the indictment, on or about March 13, Nichols possessed, manufactured or transported a firearm when one has been convicted of a felony in any state or federal court. Bond was set at $2,000.
