Missing autistic juvenile in Washington County has been found

The 7-year-old autistic boy from Washington County who has been missing since Saturday evening has been found alive.

According to Kentucky State Police, Randall Leon Chesser was found conscious and responsive. He was found at 2:45 p.m. by a ground search team from Mercer County next to a creek approximately three miles from his residence. He is being transported to an undisclosed medical facility for observation.

A press conference has been scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Willisburg Fire Department, 2620 Lawrenceburg Road in Willisburg.

Search parties have been looking for Chesser by foot, horseback, ATV, helicopter and auto since Saturday night, Sept. 24, when he went missing.
