MCHS student scores in top 1 percent nationally on WorkKeys test

By Stephen Lega

A Marion County High School student can claim to be a part of the 1 percent, at least academically.
Senior Ben Roberts achieved a "platinum" score on the ACT WorkKeys test. He is one of 11 students to attain that level out of more than 10,000 Kentucky students who took the exam, according to Marion County Area Technology Center Principal Brandon Bardin.
That also placed Roberts among the top 1 percent of test-takers nationally, Bardin said.
