Police looking for MAC escapee

William Paul Monroe walked away from the prison at 7:58 p.m. Sunday

Police are looking for inmate William Paul Monroe, who walked away from Marion Adjustment Center Sunday evening, Sept. 30.
Monroe is a 30-year-old white male. He is five feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Monroe also has several tattoos, including the name “April” on his left forearm and the right side of the neck, the word “Love” across his left hand fingers, Superman on his left shoulder, a Pillsbury Dough Boy inside of his right leg, a spider web on his right shoulder and a spider web coming out of a mouth on his right forearm.
Monroe was serving an eight-year sentence for second-degree robbery on a Harlan County charge. He was scheduled to see the Parole Board January, 2013.

MAC officials are investigating the walk away and remain contact with the Kentucky Department of Corrections and state and local law enforcement.
