Six fire departments respond to Larry Hunt Road fire

24,000 gallons of water used to contain fire

Six fire departments, 50 emergency service personnel and 24,000 gallons of water were needed to contain a fire on Larry Hunt Road Nov. 12.

Raywick Fire Chief Chuck Helm said the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police and the State Fire Marshall.

At 12:57 p.m. Friday, the Lebanon Police Department received a report of a fire on Larry Hunt Road. A trailer, garage and a truck were consumed by the fire, according to Helm.

The firefighters had no chance to save the structures, according to Helm.
