Smoking cessation class is offered

Jack Sheperson turns heads with the big pack of cigarettes in the back, of his pickup truck, but it’s not smoking that Sheperson is promoting, it’s quitting.
Sheperson, who used to smoke three packs of cigarettes a day, is hoping to share his success story with others who want to quit.
“Our approximately two-hour class doesn’t force you to quit by saying how harmful cigarettes are to you, you already know that. But we’ll gently guide you on a marvelous journey to better understanding. I was smoking three packs a day. I didn’t want anybody telling me I needed to quit because I enjoyed smoking,” he says.
Sheperson believes others can relate to his experience and benefit from a smoking cessation class that doesn’t use nicotine replacement. To promote the class, he built the big pack of cigarettes in the back of his truck as sort of a traveling billboard and attention getter.
Sheperson can be reached at (270) 402-3321.
