Tech center students contribute with product design for a Kentucky company

By Emily LaForme

Marion County students are designing real products with real companies to be used in the real world.

The “realness” factor challenges his students, according to Project Lead the Way Instructor Greg Conley, but it excites them even more.

“The enthusiasm, attention to detail, and work ethic all get elevated when I tell the students that this is a real project, they are really going to build this, they are really going to market this and sell this, and they could see it one day in the real world and say, ‘I helped draw that’,” he said.
