The Lebanon Tourist and Convention Commission is scheduled to meet at 3:30 p.m. today, Sept. 9, in Room 300 at the Centre Square Convention Center.

The meeting is scheduled to include Mary Batt and Charlie Pearl discussing a possible visit by Tibetan monks. The plan is for the monks to visit the community Oct. 7-13, during which time they would build a mandala in the community room at the Marion County Public Library, hold a cooking class at the Stillhouse Restaurant, conduct a "Let's Travel to Tibet" cultural program, and participate in a pot luck picnic at Graham Memorial Park.

Also during the meeting, the commissioners will receive the treasurer's report and the executive director's report. They will discuss old business including the Red Pixel app and kiosk.
