  • Belvin debuts new book

In Southern Stories from the Porch Swing, author Janet Morris Belvin tells, in short essays, the story of her family and her life in the South.
The book includes humorous stories with the author’s unique Southern take on life and her memories of growing up in South Carolina and Georgia in the 1950s and 60s. Recalling vacations at her grandparents’ farm near Gravel Switch, and her faith struggle after the passing of her 11-month-old grandson after surgery to repair a birth defect in his heart, Belvin shares her life generously with her readers.
