• Holiday Remembrance Service is Nov. 5

    The community is invited to attend Hosparus Health of Green River’s Holiday Remembrance Service for grieving families and friends of loved ones who have died within the past year. The event is open to all families in Taylor, Green, Adair, Marion and Washington counties who have lost a loved one while under hospice care. The service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2:30 p.m. at Campbellsville Christian Church, 302 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville. Light refreshments will be provided by Grand View Nursing and Rehabilitation.

    MCHS Class of 1982
    The Marion County High School Class of 1982 will have their 35th reunion on Oct. 21, 2017, at 8 p.m., at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Music will be provided by Kevin “Flash” Gordon.     Monday, Oct. 23: layered salad with turkey and peas, crackers, chocolate pudding, and raisins.
    Tuesday, Oct. 24: baked spaghetti, broccoli, mandarin oranges, and garlic breadsticks.
    Wednesday, Oct. 25: sweet and sour chicken brown rice, peas, egg roll, and chocolate pudding.
    Thursday, Oct. 26: hamburger, relish plate, potato salad, pork and beans, banana, and wheat bun.
    Friday, Oct. 27: tomato chicken parmesan, spaghetti noodles, cucumber salad, wheat roll, and peach cobbler.

    Amy and Kyle Osborne of Lebanon announce the birth of a 5-pound, 15-ounce son, Sawyer Lee Osborne, born Sept. 28, 2017 at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon.
    Maternal grandparents are Glenn and Carolyn Riney of Lebanon. Paternal grandparents are Gerald and Marie Osborne of Lebanon.

    Wednesday, Oct. 18: hashbrown ham casserole, lima beans, wheat roll, and angel food cake with strawberries.
    Thursday, Oct. 19; oven-fried chicken, baked potato, buttered broccoli, wheat roll, and pears.
    Friday, Oct. 20: franks, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, peach cobbler, and cornbread.
    All meals are served with skim milk.
