• Biggers and West will marry June 24


    Carol Biggers and Louis West announce their forthcoming marriage.
    Biggers is the daughter of the late Vincent E. Biggers Sr. and Dorothy A. Biggers.
    West is the son of Louis Jones and Carolyn West of Louisville.
    The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at First Baptist Church, 231 N. Depot Street, Lebanon.
    All family and friends are invited to attend.

    The Gaddie reunion will be held Saturday, June 10 at the Lebanon United Methodist Church. Lunch will be at noon.

    The descendants of Elizabeth Alice and L.C. Gordon Sr. will have their annual family reunion on Sunday, June 11, at the Raywick Community Center. A potluck lunch will be at 1 p.m. Paper goods and utensils will be provided.

    Wednesday, June 7: hashbrown ham casserole, lima beans, wheat roll, and angel food cake with strawberries.
    Thursday, June 8: franks, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, peach cobbler, and cornbread.
    Friday, June 9: oven fried chicken, baked potato, buttered broccoli, wheat roll, and pears.

  • Spitza and Shouse will marry June 10


    Randy and Winnie Spitza of Louisville announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Winfred Ann Spitza to Joseph Derek Shouse, son of Lester and Pam Shouse of Bardstown.
    The bride’s grandparents are the late Kenneth and Winnie McConnel and the late Frank and Ann Spitza.
    The groom’s grandparents are Irvin and Beverly Fenwick and Ray and Alice Shouse, all of Lebanon.
    The wedding will take place on June 10, 2017 in Louisville.

    Monday, May 22: chicken parmesan, baked potato, broccoli casserole, and pineapple delight.
    Tuesday, May 23: barbecue pork, au gratin potatoes, cucumber salad, oatmeal raisin cookie, and wheat bun.
    Wednesday, May 24: wheat bread, beef stew, brown rice, cole slaw, wheat roll, and pineapple delight.
    Thursday, May 25: senior celebration – all centers are closed.
    Friday, May 26: breaded Pollock, pinto beans, cole slaw, vanilla pudding, and cornbread.
    All meals are served with skim milk.

  • Leake and McGaw will marry June 10


    Joey and Tammy Leake of Lebanon announce the forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Courtney Jo Leake to Samuel James McGaw, son of David and Stephanie McGaw of Brentwood, Tennessee.
    Leake and McGaw are both graduates of Western Kentucky University. Leake works in clinical research and McGaw is a sports editor. They currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
    The wedding will take place at 5 p.m. June 10, 2017, at Highland Stables in Bowling Green.
    Invitations have been sent.

  • Hosparus needs volunteers

    Hosparus Health of Green River needs volunteers in Adair, Green, Marion, Taylor and Washington counties and will offer a free training session from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14 (lunch provided), at its Campbellsville office, 295 Campbellsville Bypass (behind Coltons).
