  • Brownings observe 55th anniversary


    John Dennie and Christine Browning will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on April 30, 2015.  They were married at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Mary’s, on April 30, 1960.
    They have five children, Karen Lee, Greg Browning, Linda Owens, David Browning and Julie Devine.  They also have nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

  • Ruleys celebrate 50th anniversary


    Paul and Darnell Ruley of Loretto celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 21, 2015 with a party hosted by their daughters at the Loretto Sportsmen Club.
    The couple was married on March 21, 1965. They are retired dairy farmers and own and operate Ruley’s Santa Claus Land in Loretto. Mrs. Ruley is the former Darnell Hardin.
    The couple has four daughters, Sandy Gootee and Paula Ruley of Loretto, Stacey Ruley of Bardstown and Rhonda Bryan of New Haven. They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

  • Beam and Hayden exchange vows

    Stephanie Lynn Beam and Curtiss Lee Hayden Jr. were married at 4 p.m. March 14, 2015, at First Baptist Church, Lebanon. Rev. Tommy Calhoun officiated. A reception was held at the V.F.W. in Lebanon.
    The bride is the daughter of Alberta Beam and William Cowherd of Lebanon. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Brown of Lebanon.
    The groom is the son of Kathy Porter and Curtiss Hayden Sr.

    Misty Lee McElroy and Anthony Ray Workman of Greensburg, announce the birth of a 7-pound, 1-ounce daughter, Idalynn Reese Workman, born March 14, 2015 at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon.
    Maternal grandparents are Veronica Mitchell and James Mitchell. Paternal grandparents are Nancy Gagel and Todd Lingle. Great-grandparents are Garland Skaggs, Billie Hourigan, Nadine Lingle, and the late Ida Dougherty and William Dougherty.
