  • 2018-2019 SBDM parent election will be held April 18

    Marion County High School will have parent election for the 2018–19 school site-based council. The election will take place in the school foyer from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. To be a candidate you must have a child enrolled at the high school at the present time.
    Nominations are due to the school secretary in the school office no later than 3 p.m. on April 13. The nomination form has been sent home with every underclassman, including freshmen class at Marion County Knight Academy, or parents can be pick up a form at the school office.

  • Elementary school student art show

     

    The Marion County elementary school student art show is sponsored annually by the Marion County Arts and Humanities Council to emphasize the council’s support for fine arts instruction in elementary schools. The children are so proud to show off their creativity and hard work to their families and the public. Works from all five elementary schools were displayed March 22-23 at the Marion County Heritage Center. More than 300 student works were shown.
