  • Pendygraft receives Underwood-Alger Biology Scholarship

    Elizabeth Pendygraft of Gravel Switch has been awarded the Underwood-Alger Biology Scholarship during the Spring 2018 award season.
    In 2018, Berea College presented 176 students over $242,000 in academic awards. To be eligible to receive an academic award, a student must meet specific qualifications and be selected by faculty-led committees.

    Wednesday, June 20: chicken Parmesan, baked potato, broccoli casserole, and pineapple delight.
    Thursday, June 21: beef pot roast, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, squash casserole, wheat roll, and banana.
    Friday, June 22: beef stew, brown rice, coleslaw, wheat roll, and pineapple delight.
    All meals are served with skim milk.

    Celebrate Recovery and Celebration Place helps people find healing in Jesus from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We’re committed to see people set free and experience hope and transformation. It starts at 6 p.m. every Tuesday night at the Lebanon United Methodist Church. The schedule includes: 6 p.m. meal; 6:30 p.m. - large group gathering; 6:30 p.m. - Celebration Place (CR for Kids); 7:30 p.m. - open share groups; and 8:30 p.m. - Solid Rock Café (desserts).
